I love working in watercolor.
Many of my pieces are made for my own amusement, or catharsis. Some are relegated to little drawers around my studio, a few get promoted to frames and hung in my house, and some get tidied up and put out into the world as notecards, magnets, book illustrations or prints – even just on a web page, I’m tickled that someone sees it and thinks anything of it.
I’ve decided to expand my site to share more of my lesser-seen projects because a lot of what I create doesn’t get out the door. So why do it? Because there is joy in doing art! Even art that only makes it to a little drawer in your studio, or office, or nightstand.
I hope you draw a little inspiration from some of my projects – big or smalll – and that you make space for art in your life.
