Stork house doodle amsterdam

1675 – Reguliersgracht 92, Amsterdam

This little building is alongside a canal in Amsterdam.  Every building has its own unique flair but this one is particularly eye-catching because of the little stork statue perched right into the corner above the door. The Dutch name for stork is ooijevaar – which means treasure-bearer, which makes sense because the building was once the office of a very popular midwife who brought treasures into the world!
